Credentialing and Training

Ministry Mentors upholds the highest standards of integrity and
confidentiality as hallmarks of its unique and innovative ministry.

By selecting exceptional pastors to serve as Mentors, Ministry Mentors accepts the pastor’s professional training and parish life experiences as prerequisites for mentoring. Ministry Mentors celebrates each Mentor’s unique gifts and spiritual insights knowing these will positively influence the Mentor’s interaction with other pastors.

Ministry Mentors upholds the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality as hallmarks of its unique and innovative ministry.

While celebrating different styles of mentoring, Ministry Mentors employs a credentialing process for its Mentors.  The initial 12-hour experience, augmented with on going training opportunities, insures necessary organizational uniformity and provides continuing education in the art of mentoring.   Ministry Mentors has contracted with The Steadfast Group (TSG) to use website resources as a significant part of the credentialing and training process. Mentors will have access to an extensive online reference library of materials relating to mentoring, leadership, and team development, including practical worksheet templates. These materials, useful to both Mentors and pastors being mentored, aid in defining goals, exploring issues, formulating strategies, committing to action, and reviewing experiences.

In addition to website resources, Ministry Mentors continues to utilize all professionally relevant resources in the credentialing, training, and supervision of its Leaders and Mentors.
