On November 28, 2004, members of the Ministry Mentors
Advisory Board and their spouses joined the Ministry Mentors Leaders and their
spouses at a festive gathering at the home of Carol and John Walter in Lake
Forest, Illinois.
The gathering reflected on the success of the
organization since its founding on December 13, 1999. Ministry Mentors’ President,
Don Fagerberg, thanked the Board for
its support and encouragement which is generously offered through guidance,
prayer, and financial resources. The
many friends of Ministry Mentors have helped make a vision of assisting clergy
of various denominations into a reality. Past and present members of the Advisory
Board have been a significant
resource in fund raising. At the end of
2004, the organization has raised over $325,000 to support its growing ministry
